Let me apologize for giving all of you the incorrect time for the Portfolio Show. I had been telling all the new Faculty to come between 12-2pm, and it got in my head that that was the time. So I am sorry for my mess up. I hope all of you enjoyed it and learned something from the show, even though some of you were not impressed. I hope in the future you will create more amazing work like what you saw. The sky is the limit.

GD100 Spring 2009

I created this blog in 2007 for my Honors class, as a way to keep track of all the work we were doing for a client. I haven't had much of a chance to use it again, but I feel like using it for your posts for the portfolio show will be a good idea. I have been to quite a few portfolio shows over my 4+ years here at AIW, and I think I see a higher standard of student work every Quarter. Of course, as Faculty, we are never satisfied and we want to see the work improve.

It is my hope that when you go to the show, it is more than a class project for a grade, that you take in the experience and learn from your fellow students, who have graduated and endured. They have a lot to offer. I hope that you return every quarter until you graduate, because you will have to maintain, and surpass their standards.
